Poltergeist
SPRING BREAK 2006 Fast Review
This classic of the horror genre had some slow parts mainly the middle of the movie, but what it lacked then it made up for in the creatively frightening climactic finale. It was before the times of the PG-13 rating so for a PG movie it's pretty gruesome, but it is after all a ghost story. The bottom line is it was entertaining and occasionally inventive, not to mention the fact that you'll never leave a TV on static again.

I am a big fan of this crazy cult classic. Having just watched it myself, I went through a serious quest for the second installment which I think everyone who takes this time to watch this laughably stirring exploration of the supernatural should make time to watch.
Complete with the original cast members, from the adorably doomed Carol-Ann to the shriveled and short Midget Woman...(forgetting her name right now).
anyway, Poltergeist is a must for any and all stolid fans of Spielberg and the classics of the thriller genre...which incidentally is NOT the same as a STYLE.
